Anxious Communication Style causes the avoidant communication style to pull away. To stop that from happening the Anxious communicator needs to learn to share their truth rather than to act out drawing attention to self. Here are some other things the anxious communicator can do:
If you feel anger or other intense fear come up, pause, honor it, then breath through it before you communicate.
Know exactly what to ask for, knowing the other person may not agree to it
When you are feeling anxious, tell your partner what you are afraid of.
